Inmates Super Pleased With "Captive" Stickers

Many inmates in Iowa have expressed their happiness with Raygun's line of "captive" stickers. "I'm so glad these exist," said one prisoner. "The warden was nice enough to allow us to buy them and put them up."

The inmate went on to describe how it took them many hours of labor to accumulate the cash to buy one, since they are only paid 15 cents an hour. "It was worth it though—I'm glad I can express this part of my identity," they continued.

"I don't have any windows and I think this sticker acts as a window to my soul—I'm so enthused with this company's decision to think about the people here," said another inmate.

Others weren't so receptive to the inmates receiving the stickers.

Becky, a resident of Ankeny, Iowa, stated that these stickers are being used for the wrong purpose. "I feel really weird knowing that actual inmates have the same sticker that I have on my laptop. It was supposed to be a joke about how I've been in Iowa all my life. Now people think I'm really insensitive, and it's just not fair!"
