Some people can't seem to believe that Steve King is still on Earth after he helped pass a law that allows people to kill anyone over a perceived threat. "In a state that passed a recent 'Stand Your Ground' law, and in a state where you may now carry a weapon into the Capitol Building, it seems like a complete mystery as to how Steve King is still here," said one man from Sioux City.
"I feel threatened by him, and according to the Stand Your Ground provisions, I have a right to shoot him on sight—I see him as an immediate threat to myself and others," said an armed man who has read HF517.
"Good thing liberals hate guns," said Larry from Cedar Rapids.
A woman from Des Moines said that she frequents the Capitol Building, and often walks in expecting to hear he's gone. "He's definitely not the worst person in the world, but he's pretty fucking racist."
Another woman from Fairfield said she's afraid of something happening, even to a powerful white supremacist. "I hope people will just be civil and vote bad people out when we can!"
